CBD is used for a wide variety of health complaints as well as just to enhance general well-being. Its naturally anti-inflammatory effects can help alleviate the physical symptoms of things like arthritis, irritated or acne prone skin and generalised body pain. Many people also use CBD products for their calming effect to help with anxiety or depression, as well as just every day stress resulting from a busy lifestyle.
Each product will have an approximate dosage guide on its product page but we recommend starting on the lowest dose and gradually increasing it until you find what works best for you. The amount of CBD recommended varies depending on the product, a person’s weight and why they’re using it.
Yes - we ensure all our products are lab tested and will provide you with a link to the testing results on each individual product page. The CBD products you find on World of Hemp have been created with CO2 extracted from hemp. This method is the safest and cleanest way of extracting CBD oil, requiring no chemicals to be used in the process. Many products are certified organic and we also let you know where the hemp is grown and where they’ve been produced.
While people of all ages can benefit from CBD, we don’t recommend anyone under the age of 18 using CBD without first consulting a medical professional.
Typically, CBD is safe and healthy to use while pregnant and breastfeeding though we recommend consulting your general practitioner before you do so. CBD can alter the or absorption or efficacy of other medications. If you’re on any other medication, again, we would recommend speaking to a health care professional to find if CBD is right for you.

CBD is a phytocannabinoid from the cannabis sativa plant (most commonly known as hemp). It’s one of many hundreds of compounds found within the plant and is known for its calming, anti-inflammatory and relaxing effect on the body.
Cannabidiol (CBD) works naturally with your body’s own endocannabinoid system. The human body has cannabinoid receptors throughout and these serve to help with maintaining homeostasis.
These receptors can be found across all major organs including the reproductive system and the skin as well as in the brain, kidneys and liver. Your immune and nervous systems also have cannabinoid receptors. CBD molecules from oils, drops and CBD e-liquids help to substitute any short falls in your body’s own naturally occuring CBD levels to help optimise normal mental and physical function.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive cannabinoid that gives you a mind-body high. CBD (cannabidiol) serves as the relaxing and non-psychoactive cannabinoid in the cannabis plant. CBD is typically extracted from the hemp plant which is, by its nature, THC free.
Depending on how you’re administering CBD, you may experience the odd side effect. If you use a vape pen with CBD, sometimes you may start to get a dry mouth due to the propylene glycol in the e-liquid. To counteract this, drinking fluids will get rid of the symptoms of “cottonmouth”.
While a calm feeling is a normal part of using CBD, if you take too high a dose of CBD (more than your body needs) you may experience some light-headedness or drowsiness. Stop taking CBD immediately and lower your dose the next time you use it.
In rare and extreme cases nausea, vomiting or diarrhea may occur. If you experience any of these symptoms cease use immediately and contact a medical professional.
The method used to distill the CBD in the products you’ll find on World of Hemp is CO2 extraction. This method maintains steady pressure and temperature to produce a consistent and reliable output without exposing the raw hemp to unnecessarily high heat which could affect the CBD oil. Utilising CO2 extraction maintains the integrity of the CBD compound as well as its organic status.
Most CBD is extracted from the hemp plant, not the strains of the plant that contain THC. While they look similar, the hemp plant is classified as a food product so hemp oil (including those containing CBD) and hemp products are perfectly legal. All of the products you’ll find at World of Hemp contain less than the maximum legal limit of 0.3% THC.
CBD oil and CBD e-liquid are different substances and it’s not advisable to vape CBD oil. At World of Hemp, we have a wide selection of CBD e-liquids ranging in flavour and strength. The CBD extract is suspended in a propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin suspension which is oil free and safe for inhalation.
CBD products will either be THC free, or, have less than the legal 0.3% THC. The level will be listed on the products packaging but due to the low levels there is no way you can get high from CBD. The products you’ll find on World of Hemp are derived from the hemp plant, rather than cannabis plant. The hemp plant is naturally free of THC meaning that when CBD is extracted from hemp, the product will also be THC free.
